La punta di diamante delle imprese hi-tech dell'Area Science Park di Trieste sempre più al centro dell'interesse di fondi e investitori si chiama Modefinance [...] Aindo è una startup della Sissa, fondata nel 2018 da un gruppo di ricercatori tra i maggiori esperti mondiali di intelligenza artificiale, incubata da Innovation Factory. L'idea rivoluzionaria consiste nella generazione di dati sintetici per tutelare la privacy e impiegarli per lo sviluppo di nuovi modelli di intelligenza artificiale. Ulisse BioMed, startup con sede in Area Science Park attiva, in questi mesi di pandemia ha lavorato moltissimo sul fronte Covid-19, raggiungendo alcuni importanti traguardi.

We do not know how far the universe stretches in space, but we do know how to estimate the size of what is called the observable universe. Una stima da parte dei ricercatori dell' istituto triestino SISSA ha ipotizzato il numero complessivo di buchi neri presenti nell' universo intorno ai 40 miliardi di miliardi . Il dato è stato stimato sulla base di calcoli che concernono la nascita e lo sviluppo dei buchi neri, insieme a caratteristiche proprie di questi elementi come la massa. La scoperta fungerà da base per altre ricerche che potrebbero portare ad nuove risoluzioni.
