Alberto Bressan, mathematician at Penn State University (Pennsylvania, USA) will give a talk (for the SISSA Colloquia series) on the mathematics governing the growth of biological forms. La forma di una foglia, il motivo geometrico sulla pelle di una vipera, la conchiglia di un mollusco: la natura sa costruire le forme in maniera precisa. Alberto Bressan, matematico della Penn State University (Pennsylvania, USA) terrà un intervento (nel ciclo dei SISSA Colloquia) sulla matematica che governa la crescita delle forme biologiche.
