Quantum Dreams – Research and Entrepreneurship in Quantum Technologies is a special event taking place on Saturday 31 May, 2025 starting from 9:30 at Sala Luttazzi, Porto Vecchio, Trieste. The event is part of the week of initiatives marking the UN’s International Year of Quantum Science and Technology and is organised by SISSA, ICTP and FIT, in partnership with many other institution and companies.
Bringing together researchers, companies, investors and policy makers, the event will explore how quantum technologies are moving from the lab to real-world applications. Topics will include quantum computing, sensing and communication, with a focus on their potential impact on sectors such as healthcare, industry and cybersecurity, with guests from Eniquantic, Obloo Ventures, Quandela, CINECA, Generali, Quantum Telecommunications Italy, INO-CNR, Rotonium and more.
Quantum Dreams is also a space to reflect on Italy’s position in the global quantum landscape and the role of public and private actors in supporting innovation and enterprise in this rapidly evolving field.
