The workshop "Advances in the Mathematical Analysis of Material Defects in Elastic Solids" will take place at SISSA from June 6th to June 10th, 2016 in Aula Magna.
It will focus on the mathematical analysis of dislocations, plasticity, damage, and fracture. The most recent results on these subjects will be discussed combining different expertise and perspectives.
The workshop is organised in the framework of the ERC project "Quasistatic and Dynamic Evolution Problems in Plasticity and Fracture".
