Fondazione Mondo Digitale, on the occasion of RomeCup 2026, is promoting—together with Corriere della Sera, Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and Sapienza Università di Roma—the 4th edition of the “Most promising researcher in robotics and artificial intelligence” award, aimed at early-career researchers and PhD candidates working on robotics and/or AI projects in Italy. The initiative is supported by the collaboration of leading universities and research centres, and is designed to highlight and support young talent working in frontier technologies that are strategic for the country, including robotics and artificial intelligence.
A jury appointed by Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma—made up of academics and representatives of the technical-scientific community—will evaluate applications and select the winner. The award consists of a €20,000 personal prize, acknowledging creativity, vision, dedication, perseverance and the ability to contribute, through one’s research, to human progress. The winner will be announced on 29 April 2026 during the award ceremony at the Campidoglio in Rome.
