Within the framework of their Collaboration Protocol, the Camera dei Deputati and the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei have established a joint programme of cultural and scientific initiatives aimed at fostering informed reflection on the transformations underway in contemporary society and on the role of democratic institutions in governing innovation. In this context, particular attention is given to the contribution of the new generations of scholars, called to address today’s challenges from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The first edition of this call is addressed to PhD graduates and Master’s degree graduates, and seeks to promote studies and research integrating legal, economic, philosophical and scientific knowledge, offering an original perspective on the relationship between knowledge, public decision-making and the future of democracy.
Applications are open to candidates who, in the five years preceding the call, defended a thesis on the theme identified for each edition. The call is available here: https://www.lincei.it/it/bandi-premi-borse.
The deadline for submitting applications (electronic submission) is 31 March 2026, via: https://selezionionline.lincei.it/.
Applications will be assessed by a Selection Committee composed of representatives of the Camera dei Deputati and the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei.
The Prize will be awarded on the occasion of the Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year 2026–2027 of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, highlighting the value attributed to young scholars’ contributions in strengthening dialogue between science, knowledge and institutions. The selected research will be presented at a public event hosted at the Camera dei Deputati.
