SISSA is actively participating in the second edition of Università Svelate - Giornata Nazionale delle Università 2025, scheduled for Friday, March 20. This initiative, aims to strengthen the dialogue between universities and the wider community through participatory events, is promoted by the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI) and sponsored by the Ministry of University and Research.
On Thursday 19 March, as part of SISSA for Schools organized by SISSA Medialab, the institute will welcome two third-grade primary school classes, from Collodi in Fogliano and Carducci in Sagrado, both part of Istituto Comprensivo Verni della Torre. The programme will include “Se lo vedo (non) ci credo,” an activity led by Claudia Ruzza, a PhD student in cognitive neuroscience. Afterwards, the children will take part in a treasure hunt around the institute, guided in small groups by researchers.
More than 85 universities will join the initiative all over Italy, with events, open days, public lectures and educational guidance activities open for all. The full list of initiatives is available on the CRUI website.
