Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA) is part of a network of eight Italian higher education institutions collaborating on the Educating Future Citizens (EFC) project, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The initiative aims to strengthen orientation and advanced training activities, offering new opportunities for upper secondary school and university students.
Coordinated by the Scuola IUSS di Pavia, the EFC project promotes a series of innovative educational programmes, including seminars, mentoring activities, and both residential and online events. These initiatives are designed to help young people make informed decisions about their study and research paths. The project also aims to enhance talent and merit while facilitating access to higher education in an increasingly international context.
In addition to SISSA, the EFC network includes:
This new network represents an important opportunity to strengthen collaboration between Italy’s higher education institutions and to enhance student orientation and training at both national and international levels.
