Black holes, Einstein's equations, singularities in collapsing Friedmann Universe and in anisotropic Kasner Universe: "Resolving singularities in General Relativity" is the title of the fascinating journey through the Cosmos that theoretical physicist Slava Mukhanov from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich will present in his seminar at SISSA on June 7th at 11:30 AM, room 128-129.

Mukhanov is the outgoing editor-in-chief of JCAP, one of the most important journals in the field of astrophysics and cosmology. JCAP was created by SISSA and IOP publishing and managed and published by SISSA Medialab. The journal celebrated its twentieth anniversary in 2023. His seminar is an initiative of the Institute for Fundamental Physics of the Universe (IFPU).
