Are you passionate about science and eager to share it with the world? Do you want to turn your curiosity into a profession? The time has come: applications are officially open for the 2025–2026 edition of the “Franco Prattico” Master’s in Science Communication at SISSA, Trieste!

Founded in 1993 and the first of its kind in Europe, the MCS is a postgraduate program that trains the science communicators of tomorrow: journalists, science popularizers, writers, podcasters, editors, videomakers, museum professionals, and experts in institutional and digital communication.

The Agorai Innovation Hub has been established in Trieste as a new center for research and education, with the goal of developing AI- and data science-based solutions to address major contemporary challenges. The project brings together scientific institutions, public entities and leading industrial players within an organizational model designed to integrate basic research, industrial innovation and talent development.

Much of the research aimed at understanding how the brain works is motivated by the underlying assumption, explicit or implicit, that it works perfectly, our human brain for sure but that of animals as well. For those who do not believe that a Supreme Being has created a wonderful organ by fiat, it is Evolution that has achieved a similar result by toiling over hundreds of millions of years through trial-and-error.
