As part of the PRO-BEN project promoted by CUG, SISSA is hosting a community event on identity, work, and professional life in and beyond academia. The event will take place on Wednesday, 10 June 2026 at 3:30 pm in the Big Meeting Room, 7th floor.

Facilitated by Elisa Cunial, Chartered Counselling Psychologist (UK) and leading counselling groups at SISSA.
Through personal experiences and shared reflections, the discussion will explore themes such as the relationship between work and identity, changing ideas of success, mobility and precarity in academia, transitions beyond academic careers, and the impact of AI on professional meaning and future trajectories.
The event is open to the entire SISSA community (students, researchers, faculty, and professional and technical staff) and aims to create an inclusive space for dialogue across roles, generations, and experiences.
