Artificial Intelligence: Art or Science?

The field of Artificial Intelligence has now reached a stage in which it can proficiently cross-talk with hard sciences, like mathematics and theoretical physics. This two-day workshop, organised under the auspices of the National Research Council – CNR and the Ministry of Education, University and Research – MIUR, will gather a small group of scientists from different domains (mathematics, physics, statistics, computer science) who made significant contributions in this area in order to foster an open discussion.

Organising Committee:
Nicolò Cesa-Bianchi (Milan University), Marco Conti (CNR), Pierluigi Contucci (Bologna University), Alessandro Laio (SISSA), Federico Ricci-Tersenghi (Sapienza University)
