SISSA has published the new Open Science Guidelines, updating the regulations on thesis self-archiving and Open Access to align with the latest national and international policies. The document is based on the 2021 UNESCO Recommendation, the 2022 National Plan for Open Science, and European and Italian directives on open data and research management. These guidelines define the framework for data management, open access to publications, and long-term preservation in institutional repositories. They also outline responsibilities for authors and the institution, providing guidance on copyright, privacy, and data governance.
