The national competition “#UniPerDonare. Universities for voluntary blood and plasma donation” opens today, Wednesday 2 July. Promoted by the Italian Ministry of Health, the initiative aims to raise awareness among young people about the importance of voluntary donation. Participation is free and open to all students enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral programmes at universities that are part of the CRUI network.
The competition is part of the broader project “The Ministry of Health and Universities in the Service of Society”, developed through an agreement between Sapienza University (on behalf of CRUI) and the Ministry of Health. It involves the National Blood Centre of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità and the institutional partners of the national campaign “Dona vita, dona sangue” (“Give life, give blood”).
