Encouraging reflection on how artificial intelligence is transforming contemporary society and our future, with particular attention to its ethical and regulatory implications: this is the aim of the third edition of the “Artificial Intelligence Forum – Generative Cities and Contemporary Societies”, taking place from Thursday, October 15 to Saturday, October 17, 2026 in Tavagnacco (Udine).
Organized in collaboration with SISSA, the festival was presented today at a press conference attended by professor Gianluigi Rozza, a faculty member of the School’s Mathematics Area, who commented: “The AI Forum has now reached its third edition. SISSA has curated the afternoon programme on 16 October, featuring a double panel on artificial intelligence and innovation, with a focus on new ecosystems, startups, and companies applying AI in innovative ways within traditional sectors. This will be followed by the highly anticipated lecture by Alfio Quarteroni, who approaches AI from both a mathematical and a human perspective. We are particularly pleased to have contributed to the Forum’s growth through its third edition: an eagerly awaited, thought-provoking, and innovative event, connecting our local area with the wider world.”
The full program of the Artificial Intelligence Forum is available on the festival website. Participation is free, but registration through the website is required.
