Linda Trifirò is the recipient of the scholarship awarded by the Pezcoller Foundation to the top-ranked candidate in the selection process for admission to the Master’s in Science Communication “Franco Prattico” for the 2025-26 academic year.
Linda Trifirò holds a degree in Medical Biotechnology and is about to complete a PhD in Molecular Medicine, specialising in virology, at the University of Turin. Alongside her scientific work, she has long cultivated a passion for singing and theatre, interests that have drawn her towards science communication through a range of approaches and led her to choose the Master course in Science Communication “Franco Prattico”
Trifirò was recognised by the admissions committee as the most deserving candidate in the selection process. The evaluation, which prioritised applicants with strong motivation and a concrete commitment to science communication, identified Linda Trifirò as the candidate who best embodies the enthusiasm and determination required to undertake the Master’s Programme, which aims to train professionals capable of communicating science effectively and engagingly. In recognition of her outstanding qualities, she was awarded a generous contribution by the Pezcoller Foundation, which will fully cover the Master’s tuition fees.
