Matching the knowledge and expertise of researchers with industrial needs: this is the goal of TCube (Trieste Tech Transfer), a generative artificial intelligence platform developed by SISSA in collaboration with RES Group. The pilot version of TCube will be presented on 5th December at 10 am, at the Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce in Trieste, during the event “TCube, Trieste Tech Transfer: generative AI for a more effective dialogue between researchers and innovators”.
TCube has originated within the iNEST (Interconnected Nord-Est Innovation Ecosystem) Consortium, funded by the NPRR, as an initiative of Spoke 9, the area of the project coordinated by the School, focused on digital twins. The development of this platform, which has been trained on Spoke 9’s base knowledge, marks the first step toward creating the Trieste Lab Village, a network of physical and digital infrastructures designed to foster synergy between universities, research institutes, and companies in the Trieste area. The Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce and Confindustria Alto Adriatico have signed memoranda of understanding to support this initiative, which features the collaboration of the University of Trieste.
