SISSA Student Day 2025: a day to explore contemporary research for 500 young students from across Italy

The event, now in its ninth edition, is open exclusively to pre-registered schools.

The Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA) in Trieste is ready to welcome 500 fourth- and fifth-year secondary school students for the SISSA Student Day 2025, a unique opportunity to dive into the world of contemporary research.

Fully booked within minutes of registration opening, the ninth edition of the SISSA Student Day will take place on February 14 and will welcome young participants not only from Friuli Venezia Giulia region but also from the cities of Bergamo and Catanzaro. With nearly 150 volunteers, including PhD students, faculty members, and technical-administrative staff, the event is structured into three time slots, each offering over 20 activities. Participants will have the freedom to choose independently, regardless of their teachers or classmates, what to explore from a vast selection of simultaneous events held in SISSA’s classrooms and laboratories.
